Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates Awards Software Contract to WSN
Days after announcing its wine industry technology partnership with Evocative, Inc, WSN has been awarded the ecommerce software contract for the Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates website.
San Francisco, CA, August 14, 2001 – Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates, Ltd, announced today that it has awarded its e-commerce software contract to WSN, LLC, a San Francisco-based marketing and technology company focused on the wine industry. The Kendall-Jackson contract came just one week after WSN announced its new wine-industry e-commerce development partnership with Evocative, Inc, a leading software company also based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
One of the most honored wineries in the United States, Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates, Ltd also has a significant online presence (www.kj.com). We considered several different companies to power our online store," says Susan Sueiro, Director of Internet Development. It was WSNs specific wine industry expertise that made the difference for us. We need a technology partner that not only provides web-based applications and powerful e-commerce solutions, but one which understands the complexities and exceptions that abound in the wine industry. By bringing both of these critical pieces, WSN became the clear choice for us."
Neal Barnett, WSNs CIO, added, Kendall-Jackson will provide an ideal environment for us to leverage our combined strengths," referring to WSNs partnership with Evocative. With efficient, low-cost web applications and our powerful compliance engine, we're looking forward to bringing better e-commerce solutions to the wine industry."
