WebcamMail makes sending video/voice mail faster and easier.

Webcam Corp. has released WebcamMail, a Windows applications that allows the users to sent video/voice mails instead of text based emails. By utilizing Microsoft Windows Media ?technology, WebcamMail changed people's impression on yesterday's video email. Most of the video email software today generates very big video files, which is virtually undeliverable over the Internet. WebcamMail makes the video file very small and easy to transmit even with a 56k modem. The streaming video/audio files created by WebcamMail are Windows Media compatible. Therefore, almost every computer is ready to play the video/audio file, even a PDA with Windows Media Player. Receivers can view your video immediately without installing additional software.

This product is by far the most efficient and practical software out there for sending video/voice messages. It can reduce a 60 second video file to 240K so it takes about only 30 seconds or less to download using a 56K modem. The same video file in the standard Windows AVI format would take 12 minutes or longer to download using the same modem. And the most important aspect is that the quality of the video at this compression rate is still impeccable. Since the media file is streamable, people using Web based email tool can view the video immediately instead of waiting for the entire video being downloaded.

WebcamMail is also very easy to use. With just 3 clicks, you can record a video/voice, and send it your friend/friends. If you decide to send the message later, you also have the option to save it, and send it later. With WebcamMail, it is easy to express yourself in the email for business or for pleasure. Sending video/voice mail to your business partners, family, or friends has never been this easy before."

Other features include the ability to change the data rate to ensure the best quality of your streaming video. And there is no executable file attached when sending video/audio with WebcamMail. Therefore, you and receivers can refrain from computer virus.

WebcamMail requires Windows 98/Me/NT4/2000 and a Windows
compatible PC camera. The program costs $29.95 (USD), and may be purchased
securely online at http://www.webcam123.com/. You can download a free,
fully-functional trial version from the same web address. For more
