LOCKSTEP SIGNS FIRST UNITED KINGDOM RESELLER, EMS-global
EMS-global has been appointed as Locksteps first UK reseller of its award winning security product.
Phoenix, Arizona USA, 15 September, 2001 -- Lockstep Systems, Inc. today announced that EMS-global, an information security outsourcing and services firm, has become the first authorized reseller in the United Kingdom for Locksteps award-winning WebAgain and SiteRecorder products. This relationship marks a major step forward in Locksteps commitment to deliver web site content protection software to the European marketplace.
The Security Group of EMS-global chose to represent the Lockstep products to enhance their ability to deliver effective protection for their customers web sites in the face of the geometrically increasing threat of web site hacking experienced by businesses throughout the world.
Brian Pennington, EMS-global IT Security Consultant, considers WebAgain to be the most cost-effective security tool he has ever seen: In all my years in IT Security I have never come across a piece of security software that is so simple to install and yet so effective in protecting the reputation of an organization. I believe WebAgain and SiteRecorder are essential tools in the armoury of every IT manager and security officer."
The Lockstep WebAgain product automatically detects and repairs unauthorized changes to a web site, using a unique, patent-pending process. Altered website content is quarantined for further review and appropriate people are automatically notified when unauthorized changes and the resulting fixes occur.
The Lockstep SiteRecorder product builds a complete audit trail and archive of all web site content changes, while alerting appropriate parties when such changes occur. This enables a website to be restored to precisely the configuration it was at a certain date and time of your choice, thus supporting corporate security, disaster recovery and auditing strategies.
EMS-global represents the type of experienced, customer-focused information security services firm that can best represent the Lockstep products to the business marketplace," said Mark Dixon, Vice President of Business Development for Lockstep Systems. We are confident that EMS-globals security expertise, coupled with the unique strengths of Locksteps web site content protection products, will provide a valuable service to businesses in the United Kingdom. The Lockstep/EMS-global relationship will provide a strong foundation for Locksteps efforts to expand its business into Europe."
