Innovative Show of Solidarity for NYC Tragedy Victims Announced by "It's Another Prozac Morning in America...."

WINONA, MN--In what may be an unprecedented show of solidarity and sympathy for the people of New York City following the tragic events at the World Trade Centre on the 11th inst., Iludium Phosdex, as is responsible for "It's Another Prozac Morning in America....", has announced a rather innovative such.

"Henceforth, and until further notice, the page dedicated to the latest edition of my satiricaly-flavoured commentary at my website [anotherprozacmorning.homestead.com/latest.html], and subsequently-archived such, will feature an advert for the online retailer NewYorkFirst," saith Phosdex (39 going on 40), adding, "In so doing, I urge all as are interested in doing any online shopping to thus show sympathy and solidarity for the people of New York City in response to these tragic events of the 11th instant.

"I would especially recommend that people keep this in mind when planning their end-of-year holiday shopping" for Christmas, Haunukkah, Kwanzaa and New Year's, Phosdex is recommending. "That, and maybe doing so at this time, the better to avoid any undue rush on the servers" during the peak holiday-shopping season.

("It's Another Prozac Morning in America...." is a website affiliate of NewYorkFirst, under which Iludium Phosdex would get commissions off sales as are generated directly off the site.)

Phosdex adds that "such will be in keeping with the call of the United States Government to encourage consumer spending as a way to keep the clear and present danger of recession at bay" in the hope of restoring consumer confidence by the Thanksgiving weekend, traditionally the kickoff to the holiday shopping period.

"Such an innovative concept may perhaps be the best way to show sympathy and solidarity with New York City, which as we all know may be the world's greatest shopping city, in a time of such crisis as they are now seeing. And by featuring NewYorkFirst in such a manner, featuring as they do the best of New York's retailers for virtually anything and everything conceivable, is perhaps the best way I can think of in this respect."

In closing, Phosdex suggests that both regular and new visitors to the site "may want to spend some quality time shopping online with the best of New York City's retailers omnibus, and in so doing display some support for the people of such a great city in this time of crisis. Is there anything better, especially with the holidays approaching in about three months' time?"
