Former national bass tournament angler,
Outdoors columnist and restaurateur, Gigi Phillips, makes a Halloween debut with her supernatural suspense novel, "Dealmaker."
One word . . . that's all it takes to weave destruction into the lives of nine unsuspecting families. One woman is the common thread that pulls sixteen people together, only to unravel their perception of reality.
Rich with history, "Dealmaker" spans six decades. And true to her tomboy style, Phillips weaves in detailed information regarding classic cars, especially Duesenbergs.
"Dealmaker" has already garnished several pre-pulication praises and secured Phillips a national tour.
The book release party will be held 20 October in her native Fort Worth, Texas at the Barnes & Noble in Sundance Square from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.. On Halloween eve, 30 October, Phillips will be a guest at the Fort Worth Public Library, Southwest Branch. She will also be in Tulsa, Oklahoma 2 November for a tentative appearance on a morning show and that evening be at the Southroads Barnes & Noble for a reading and signing event from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.. In December, the Old Car Museum in Shreveport, Louisiana is scheduling an tie-in event with her book to cover two states. She has also been invited to be a guest speaker at the 75th Anniversary of the Lakeland Public Library in Florida and has plans to visit Iowa, Connecticut, Wisconsin and Washington.
