With Energy Deregulation Everyone Will Benefit
Killeen, TX - January 9, 2002 - According to Deregulation Consultants, Texas is only the beginning. All states in the United States are scheduled for deregulation by the year 2004. This opens up a whole new career opportunity for individuals interested in marketing and/or sales.
Energy Deregulation Consultants feel good about their new career choice, some even calling it a 'noble profession'. "It isn't often you get paid this well for saving people money."
Individuals who have selected this new career path have expressed the ease with which they secure new customers. "We're only offering consumers a choice", says one Independent Representative. "Any and everyone uses electricity. Either they choose us...or not. It's a huge market out there." A former insurance broker, turned Deregulation Consultant, states, "I have been successful in the insurance business, but I wanted a change. I have found that closing contracts in this business is much easier than with insurance. Many people think they don't need insurance, but everybody 'knows' they need electricity."
How difficult is it to get into this profession? Various companies charge different representative fees, and offer different payplans, all seemingly generous. ACN, for example, offers a Team Trainer position with a start-up of $499. This fee covers the cost of training, voice mail, a website, and home office support. ACN is not only a marketing agency, but they are their own service provider, called "ACN Energy". Another company, OptionEnergy, the exclusive marketing affiliate for NewPower, offers an Independent Representative position with a much more reasonably priced start-up of $235. Their fee covers the cost of training, a corporate website, and home office support. A Representative from OptionEnergy has indicated that websites for individual representatives are currently in the works.
