NATIONWIDE RELATIONSHIP SURVEY TO EXPLORE INTIMACY "MYTHS"
Chicago Author Invites Men & Women to Share Views on Sex, Love and Relationships
The Relationship Basic 3: Connecting Mind, Body & Spirit is a new book in development that explores what is most important in intimate relationships. The author is conducting an online survey inviting men & woman to share their opinions and experiences.
NORTHLAKE, Ill.- January 8, 2002 - Men aren't looking for the same degree of intimacy in relationships as women, right? Not necessarily, according to preliminary research conducted by first time author L. H. Dalton of Northlake, Ill. Through a confidential, on-line survey, Dalton is gathering the experiences and opinions of men and women across the country for inclusion in her new book, The Relationship Basic 3: Connecting Mind, Body & Spirit.
"I want to be the voice of real people in their quest for Great Love,", says Dalton, a divorced parent and former marketing professional who doesnt claim to be an expert with all the answers. "Many relationship books are written by psychologists who claim to have the formula for loving well. I believe we all hold keys to unlock the mystery of a satisfying relationship. Through our stories of love and loss we can find comfort in knowing there is no one way to love, no perfect way to be together."
The survey has piqued the interest of both men and woman of diverse ethnic backgrounds and age groups. "I have received many candid responses of almost equal ratio between the sexes. It is already apparent that myths will be dispelled as men reveal emotional needs and women express intellectual connection as high on their list.", says Dalton, "I hope that by completing the survey people discover new ways of looking at themselves and each other. The book will be a reflection of that collective insight."
