WEBSITES DISCUSS TREASON, HANOI JANE AND TALIBAN JOHN
SANTA FE, NM - January 13, 2002 - A new website created by Brooklyn Law School Professor Emeritus Henry Mark Holzer, www.talibanjohn.info, provides crucial information about the legal aspects of the John Walker case - especially pertaining to the mother of all crimes," treason. Another website created by Professor Holzer, www.hanoijane.net, relates Walkers conduct in Afghanistan to Fondas in North Vietnam.
Did either or both commit treason?
Fonda journeyed to Hanoi. She met with senior Communist civilian and military leaders, held press conference, toured sites of alleged bombings, interviewed" American POWs, and, most important, made a series of propaganda broadcasts. Walker trained with al-Qaeda, marched with al-Qaeda, fought with al-Qaeda, rebelled with al-Qaeda - and was in close proximity to al-Qaedas murder of American CIA agent Mike Spann.
The answer to whether Fonda or Walker committed treason is found in an examination of the law of treason. Unfortunately, both during the Fonda days of 1972 and now since the discovery of Walker among al-Qaeda fighters, most of the public information about treason has been, at best, incomplete, and, at worst, plain wrong.
Professor Holzers websites - www.talibanjohn.info and www.hanoijane.net - are designed to remedy the non-information, misinformation, and disinformation.
