Contactmecard.co.uk launches a whole new way of dating

Contactmecard.co.uk is an exciting new way of dating to be launched on
Valentines Day (14 February). It's an innovative concept, using the Internet
together with personal plastic cards.

New contactmecard.co.uk members complete a personal profile about themselves
online. Once they receive their contactmecards they can pass the cards to
anyone they like.

Each card has a unique number and a message telling the recipient that the
person giving them the card finds them attractive.

The recipient is invited to visit the contactmecard.co.uk web site, punch in
the member's number, and then read the members personal profile and chosen
contact details free of charge.

Its a fun way to learn more about the person they received the card from -
and help them decide if they want to keep in touch.

Members will be encouraged to keep cards handy at all times for chance
encounters anywhere in bars, nightclubs, at college, on a plane or even at
the supermarket!

Founder Nick Parkin, of London, said: "I came up with the idea from years of
corny chat up lines and lost phone numbers on scraps of paper. I carried out
market research that showed that 84% of those interviewed would, if given a
card by someone they found attractive, be curious and visit the web site".

Contactmecard.co.uk aims to affiliate with nightclubs, media and drinks
companies for joint promotions as cards can be personalized with specific
brands.
