PrivateSky Aviation Services, Inc. Signs Strategic Alliance With EXXON-MOBIL
Albany, New York--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2002--PrivateSky® Aviation Services, Inc. at SW Florida International Airport (RSW) Fort Myers, FL 33913-8874 an affiliate of Wolanin Companies Ltd. Albany, New York has announced the recent signing of a 5 year deal with Exxon-Mobil Aviation whereby PrivateSky® will develop an additional new Maintenance Service Center complex adjacent to it's present 15 acre Maintenance Service Center facilities at SW Florida International Airport (RSW). PrivateSky® Aviation Services, Inc. is an FAA certified Maintenance Service repair station Y3PR003X specializing in the Gulfstream II, III, IV and V models of aircraft. The current PrivateSky® Maintenance Service Center hangars complex which PrivateSky® uses to perform scheduled and unscheduled work scopes on Gulfstream II, III, IV and V models will be further expanded to enable PrivateSky® to work simultaneously on up to 12 Gulfstream size aircraft. (PrivateSky® specializes 100 % in Gulfstream aircraft and is the only independent facility in the country that works specifically on only Gulfstream aircraft.) When completed, the expansion will triple the available hangar space and increase the overall facility size to in excess of thirty acres. The expansion will also showcase a state of the art Customer Service Center. PrivateSky® will also handle Exxon Branded fuel and aviation products and will continue it's designation as an AVITAT facility.
Ground breaking on the additional 15-acre site is scheduled for the new construction on Jan. 29, 2002 with completion by mid 2002. Vincent M. Royce Stevens will continue to serve as the General Manager and company director for the entire expanded facilities, and Tony Singleton will expand his duties as Business Manager-World Wide Customer Support to include the new complex as well. John Davis will also expand his duties as Maintenance Service Center director, to include these additional hangar work areas at PrivateSky® and Joe Timm will continue his role as Chief Inspector. Gregory Wolanin of Wolanin Companies Ltd New York will serve as special advisor to the board of directors. Larry Becker of Slingerlands NY will serve on the board and David Sussman also of Slingerlands NY will continue as asset manager.
