ZyWeb Appoints New Managing Director
UK, January 15, 2002 - ZyWeb Ltd, developer of the leading web page builder, ZyWeb, today announced the appointment of Steve Congrave as its Managing Director. Steve takes immediate responsibility for driving the company forward, maximizing revenues, building business operations and focusing on new web initiatives.
Steve's career started in the UK Defense Industry involved in Project Management and then International Sales. He widened his International Sales and Business Development experience with Strix Ltd based on the Isle of Man and subsequently moved into the Telecoms arena with time at BICC Cables. In 1995 he co-founded MINX Ltd, an Internet start-up focused on delivering Internet services to the Business market.
Steve joined ZY.com in early 1998 to drive their Business Development activity and moved to Silicon Valley on the West Coast of the USA to head up the US Operations in 2000. He continued there as Sales Director for Xara Online, working with partners and customers throughout the United States.
