FormWare Doubles Processing Volumes Without Increasing Costs

DSD is using FormWare to grow its service offerings quickly by utilizing over 250 in-office and remote production workers in both paper and image-based environments.

DSD, headquartered in Parsippany, NJ, with production centers in Woods Cross, UT and Baja California, Mexico, processes an average of 2.5 million forms and documents per month. They offer complete processing services including mail handling, scanning, imaging, document conversion, and fulfillment. Typical data conversion programs include credit card applications, warranty registrations, direct mail order processing, medical claim forms, returned mail processing, circulation, surveys, and others.    

In 2000, DSDs new management team decided they wanted a proven, next-generation data capture solution that provided a standardized platform on which to grow their business. They wanted to build their business quickly by employing both an on-site and off-site workforce that could be managed and controlled effectively. Also, they
wanted to improve their imaging capabilities and ability to take advantage of new technologies that would allow them to leverage the Internet. Once the dataand images are received at the data center, production workers at any location can perform quality control and edits using the Internet FormWare Server (IFS).
