TDK Semiconductor Launches New Web Site

Tustin, CA, January 14, 2002 -- TDK Semiconductor, a leader in the design and manufacture of communication semiconductors for worldwide markets, has completed a major upgrade to its existing web site. Completely and comprehensively redesigned for ease of use and speed, the new site can be viewed at http://www.tdksemiconductor.com.

The site includes complete product information, with PDF files identified by file size that can easily be downloaded. A quick overview of each product is presented with primary features and a block diagram that will help customers determine their specific need. Each product has a quick link to FAQs, application notes, a literature request form and other documents. Additional new features include a Technical Library," with easy links to white papers, design manuals and other documentation.

Under News & Events," a calendar of electronic technical symposiums and trade fairs will keep visitors current on possible future worldwide events that they may wish to attend. The new product search" engine will help direct visitors to specific product data, while a new search engine under Careers" will quickly help match the inquirer with one or more positions that may match the visitors interests.

The new site was developed by PINT, Inc., a nationally recognized Web development firm based in San Diego. New technology was added to the TDK Semiconductor site. ColdFusion was employed to create a system that dynamically generates product comparison information, technical document associations and job listings.
