API to Offer Convergence Training at NEXPO
Reston, VA -- The Media Center at the American Press Institute (API) will present three seminars examining media convergence in conjunction with NEXPO® 2002, the Newspaper Association of Americas annual newspaper technology conference and exposition.
NEXPO is June 22-25 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Media Center seminars will be held all day on Friday, June 21, beginning at 7:30 a.m., with a closing session from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. the following day. Tuition includes seminar sessions, study materials and full NEXPO privileges.

The Media Centers short but intense seminars at NEXPO will cover essential topics on media convergence:
Seminar 1, Convergence Management: Partnership, Revenue, People and Change, is geared to senior editorial, corporate and strategy media executives.
Seminar 2, Convergence Content: User Expectations, 24-hour News, is designed for senior newsroom managers responsible for multi-platform projects.
Seminar 3, Convergence Technology: Content Management Systems and Issues will look at the technical side of the convergence equation for content managers and IT professionals.
Tuition is $315 for NAA members and $485 for non-members.
