The Athlete's Foot's Venezuela franchise operation is experiencing outstanding sales results. The company's first two Venezuela stores, located in Sambil and Valencia, experienced same-store sales increases of 22% and 14% respectively during the month of December 2001.

The companys first two Venezuela stores, located in Sambil and Valencia, experienced same-store sales increases of 22% and 14% respectively during the month of December 2001. Both stores have enjoyed a successful sales trend since opening in November 2000. A third store, opened in April 2001, is also showing positive results.

Sportex de Venezuela, C.A. has exclusive master franchise rights to open The Athletes Foot stores in Venezuela. The agreement, signed in August 2000, will result in an additional two stores by the end of 2003.
