The Baltimore Saint Patrick Parade welcomes The Maryland School for the Blind.
The Baltimore Saint Patrick Parade welcomes the paricipation of The Maryland School for the Blind to the 46th annual parade scheduled for March 17, 2002
The Baltimore Saint Patrick Parade is happy to welcome the Maryland School for the Blind as the newest participant to the annual Parade.
The Maryland School for the Blind is a private, nonprofit school servicing children from newborn to age 21 who are blind, visually impaired, and/or multiply disabled.
David Keelan, Parade General Chairman, said, "We are pleased that The Maryland School for the Blind is able to join us to celebrate on March 17th, and give the Irish community the ability to provide exposure to the wonderful service the school provides to the people of Maryland."
"The Parade is still accepting applications from other non-profits who would be interested in promoting their mission. As a community event part of our mission is to support all aspects of the entire community. By providing organizations and their missions exposure to 200,000 parade spectators is a small effort compared to the work these groups perform everyday." said Keelan
