"Pins and Needles" movie wins first award at world premiere.
Garrison Koch won the Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film award for "Pins and Needles" at the New York International Independent Film Festival (www.nyfilmvideo.com) held at the Vogue Theatre in Hollywood last December.
"Pins and Needles", writer/director Mark Schwab's second feature film, seems to be off to a good start for the 2002 film festival circuit. On December 8, 2001 "Pins and Needles" had its world premiere in at the Vogue Theatre in Hollywood as part of the New York International Independent Film Festival.
"Pins and Needles" was in competition and on January 13, 2002 the festival bestowed the Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film award to "Pins and Needles"'s Garrison Koch.
Needless to say, Schwab was thrilled to have Koch's excellent performance in the taut drama formally recognized by the awards committee.
"I always thought Garrison gave a complicated and subtle performance as Lance. He was always my first choice for that part right from the beginning of the casting process and he worked very hard to flesh out that character."
Garrison recently played the recurring role of Ted on MTV's popular series, "Undressed".
