WorldPay gears up for worldwide expansion with the appointment of new Global PR Manager

WorldPay has appointed Simon Fletcher as the new Senior Manager for Global PR. Focusing chiefly on Asia Pacific, Simon will be responsible for driving WorldPay~{!/~}s PR and communications programme including the coordination of WorldPay~{!/~}s existing global eCommerce network.

Singapore, January 18, 2002 - WorldPay, the global leader in secure, multi-currency Internet payment processing, has laid the foundations for further rapid international growth with the appointment of a new Senior Manager for Global PR, Simon Fletcher.

Based in UK, Simon will be responsible for driving WorldPay~s PR and communications programme including the coordination of WorldPay~s existing global eCommerce network.

Simon, 32, brings a wealth of corporate communications and press management experience to his new role. He joins WorldPay from leading enterprise software company Autonomy, where he headed up pan-European PR from 1999. Prior to that, he was responsible for press and marketing communications at geospatial software specialist Laser-Scan (now owned by Yeoman), and also held posts in both editorial and promotional roles at international electronic publisher Chadwyck-Healey (now part of the Bell and Howell Group).
