DETAILS:
On October 16, 2001, InfoSphere and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce officially launched the Tarrant County Technology Survey. Approximately 900 tech companies were targeted for participation in the 43-question survey.
The survey, presented in a multiple-choice format, related to hiring and personnel issues, company sales and growth, as well as business relationship building in Fort Worth. The results of the survey will be used for two purposes:
1.To respond to the Fort Worth business concerns of participants in the survey.
2.To raise the awareness and visibility of Fort Worth as a high-tech center to result in attracting other tech companies to the region.
InfoSphere, a leading provider of technology consulting and integrated business solutions for Fortune 1000 companies, developed the application and database. TCU MBA Enterprise Team students and a committee of Tech Council members analyzed the data and created a report. The TCU students will present the results and distribute copies printed by Barr Printing at the February breakfast.
