Industry veteran to head Asia Business team

KULIM, Friday January 25 - SilTerra Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Malaysias leading semiconductor wafer manufacturing service provider, today announced its commitment to intensify focus on its Asian business with the appointment of industry veteran Pankaj Gadani, formerly its director of process integration, to head its Asia Business team. Mr. Gadani who has more than 20 years experience in the semiconductor industry will focus on expanding SilTerras customer base in the region.

Asian business is our current focus as we have a lot of activities in Asia following our operational successes where we are able to offer 0.25, 0.22 and the much sought after 0.18 micron CMOS process technologies to our customers," said Cy Hannon, President and CEO of SilTerra Malaysia Sdn. The Asia Business team is based in SilTerras manufacturing facility in Kulim and the sales team includes regional sales managers supporting Japan, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. The customer-engineering group includes technical account managers who will be the key technical interfaces between customers and the manufacturing facility. Mr. Gadani serves as director of both sales and customer engineering groups.
