Local Tech Company Provides Incentives for Volunteers
North Vancouver based eBusiness-Apps.com announces the launch of the Volunteer
Reward Program. eBusiness-Apps, web application and eCommerce specialists,
hope that this new program will give new and current clients an incentive to
volunteer their time with local charitable organizations. Participants in the
program will receive a 10% discount on their monthly service plans, in addition
to gaining a valuable experience, and making a positive impact on their respective
communities. All businesses that participate will also be asked to supply eBusiness-apps
with a letter outlining their volunteer experience. Letters will then be posted
on their website outlining to other businesses the rewards of volunteerism.
"We hope that the testimonials of clients on this program will encourage other
businesses to play an active role in their communities", says Andre Charland,
President of eBusiness-Apps.com. "We believe businesses need to give something
back to the community that supports them, whether that's on a global or a local
scale. Volunteerism is one way they can accomplish this."
eBusiness-Apps.com volunteers approximately 200 development hours per year
to Non-Profit organizations such as the BC Children's Hospital Foundation Technology
Committee (TECCH web site: www.tecch.com , BC Children's Hospital Site: www.bcch.ca
), Cycling BC (www.cycling.bc.ca ) , and the Young Entrepreneurs Associations
(www.yea.ca ).
