Industry Expert Explains How to Minimize Complexity and Maximize Advantages of the Two Technologies

SEATTLE, Wash.-(January 23, 2002)-Implementing PKI and IPSec VPNs has a reputation for being complex and costly, but for companies that seek to enable people to work together anytime, anywhere, it offers numerous advantages over other technologies. That will be the topic of a workshop hosted by eTunnels executive and industry expert Ralph Puga at the Internetworking VPNs Conference, January 29-31 in Washington DC. The workshop, titled PKI Implementation of IPSec VPNs," will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29.

PKI and VPNs are traditionally very difficult and costly to implement, and maintenance and support can become unwieldy," said Puga. Well discuss all aspects of these two technologies and describe some very innovative ways of minimizing the complexity of their implementation."
Puga has almost 20 years experience in security systems and software. He presently is director of product planning and professional services for eTunnels, Inc., a leading provider of Virtual Private Network (VPN) services.
