Torbay Holdings Inc No Longer Plays KAT and Names the Mouse:
Torbay Holdings Inc announces the name of its new biomechanically designed computer mouse. Biomechanics and not ergonomics is the science of the body that is hoped to reduce the problem of Carpal Tunnel Sundrome and RSI in computer mouse users. Torbay Holdings Inc has registered the name The Quill" for its Biomechanical Computer Mouse to be launched in the summer.
Torbay Holdings Inc (ticker trby") who are due to launch the first computer mouse designed to respect the biomechanics of the human body (Biomechanics the study of the mechanical laws relating to the movement or structure of living organisms) as opposed to ergonomics, (the study of peoples efficiency in their working environment) have just registered a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the commercial name of their new mouse, until now project named the KAT",.
Tom Large CEO of Torbay stated, This is a small step in our Intellectual Property Rights strategy, that includes a Global Patent Application, to protect all our rights to our design, which respect the operational needs of the worker and not just the work. The laws of physics and mathematics apply equally to human beings and the failure to recognize them is measured in the very human terms of pain and suffering and at corporate and insurances companies bottom lines. The evidence is now so compelling in regards to computer mice and RSI that someone had to go back to the drawing board and reinvent the mouse/user interface, which is what the scientists at Torbay have done."
In positioning a premium performing product and establishing a new price point for what is claimed to be the worlds first Biomechanical Computer Mouse a name that reflected time proven elegance and utility in safe written communication has been chosen.
The Quill"
Tom stated, The Quill is a symbol that demonstrates that simplicity and efficacy can be both functional and eye catching. The design that achieves our mouse user-friendly objectives turned out to be visually elegant. It will therefore sit proudly in any office or computer environment, be they of leather and wood or chrome and glass. People will want to own the Quill simply for the way it looks and a reality is hoped for that once users have worked with the Quill long enough, they are likely to forget about the aches and pains they once had. So in the event of the eradication of user mouse fatigue the Quill will look good sat upon the desk."
