Cubix Partners with Incognito to offer DNS and DHCP Appliances
Cubix blade-based DNS and DHCP Appliances simplifies deployments
Carson City, NV -- Jan. 31, 2002 - Cubix Corporation makes available today, the industry's first chassis/blade multi server appliance for DNS/DHCP applications.
The two high density systems, Multiple Security Appliance (MSA) 300 & 800, host up to three and eight appliance blades respectively, featuring DNS Commander and IP Commander from Incognito Software Corporation.
The Cubix system is unique in that it integrates DNS Commander and IP Commander on appliance blades running a security hardened version of the Linux operating system. The appliances are also available with Microsoft operating systems.
MSA systems, with their appliance blade architecture, are ideal for enterprises and service providers looking to rapidly deploy multiple high-speed, high-density, high availability appliances in space constrained data centers.
Both fault-tolerant MSA hardware platforms integrate redundant subsystems to ensure Domain Naming and Dynamic Addressing services are always available. Cubix's appliance blades have been tested and certified by Incognito Software engineers, ensuring functionality, interoperability, and ease of installation. The combined hardware/software solution provides a highly scalable product for deploying powerful and secure DNS and DHCP solutions to customers.
MSA appliance systems with DNS and IP Commander are available for immediate shipment.
