ME Productions, Orlando, was pleased to be selected by the Kissimmee-St. Cloud Conventions and Tourist Bureau to produce the American Bus Associations' (ABA) Marketplace, an annual event held Sunday, February 3, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The streets of Kissimmee's Old Town were closed to the public and transformed into "Everything Under The Sun," a street show and party and a highlight of the 6-day ABA Marketplace event, with an expected attendance of 2,200.

ME Productions, Central Florida, an international provider of corporate events and destination management, was pleased to announce its selection by the Kissimmee-St. Cloud Conventions and Tourist Bureau to produce an entire theme event for the American Bus Associations' (ABA) Marketplace, an annual event held Sunday, February 3, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The streets of Kissimmee's Old Town were closed to the public and transformed into "Everything Under The Sun," a street show and party and a highlight of the 6-day ABA Marketplace event, with an attendance of 2,200.

Kissimmee's Old Town hosts 75 specialty shops, 8 restaurants, and 15 amusement rides along its brick-lined street. It was transformed by ME Productions into various themes symbolically reflecting the moon, sun, wind and clouds. A gigantic sun portal served as the gateway, man-made clouds created the backdrop and intelligent lights striked out with realistic sunbeams. Along the street itself, strollers delighted in the moon (Luna) area; sun (Solis), clouds (Nimbus), and stars (Astrum) -- and, in the center of whole avenue, floating above, was a goddess -- a trapeze artist conducting maneuvers from a glowing balloon overhead. In addition, thanks to ME Productions' entertainment roster and sponsor support, each area was further enhanced with live entertainment.

As guests walked among the ME designed backdrops, they enjoyed performances including an Arabian Nights show, the Mystic Sheiks of Morocco Brass Band, Gatorland with gator wrestling, and Old Town's 50's live entertainment including "Rick & The Tricksters" and "Danny and the Juniors." The live acts were sponsored by Arabian Nights Dinner Attractions, Gatorland, Big Mountain Indians, Medieval Knights, Busch Gardens, Kissimmee-St. Cloud Conventions and Tourist Bureau; Old Town, Opryland Hotel Florida, and Your Friends in Kissimmee-St. Cloud.

"Thanks to the united efforts of all these participants, the entire event provided a glimpse into everything in Kissimmee, where these guests truly can see everything under the sun," said event coordinator, ME Executive Sales and Event Manager Erin Duffy.
