The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be the object of media attention with the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City.

Presenting a fresh perspective on the Mormon Church at this time, Crossroads Press announces the January 2002 release of Gentile Girl: Living with the Latter-day Saints by author Carol Avery Forseth. This 175-page book introduces the major beliefs and practices of the Mormons through the easy-to-read, captivating story of a young Christian student at Brigham Young University.

Gentile Girl is no textbook; many readers say, "I couldnt put it down!" Sandra Tanner, descendant of Brigham Young and a famous former Mormon, calls it "a well-balanced introduction to the Mormon world." This book provides a gentle, entertaining look into Mormon life that is neither pro-Mormon nor anti-Mormon propaganda.

Gentile Girl:Living with the Latter-day Saints is available at Family Christian Stores, LifeWay Stores, and other Christian bookstores, through Riverside Distributors, and online at http://www.gentilegirl.com.
