Two years ago, an eclectic group of eccentric, creative individuals were brought together over the Internet. Friendships were formed, lives were changed, and one of the Internets most promising communities was formed on a small, out-of-the-way IRC (Internet Relay Chat) network. The community, known as Barlibash", brought together minds from all over the world, stimulating thought and empowering creative expression. The members of Barlibash began work on an original website over one year ago; the site, as it is today, was called Grey Sanctuary". With offices in London, Brisbane, and locations in the United States, Grey Sanctuary has a wide range of contacts all over the world. The mission statement of Grey Sanctuary is simple: To provide a sanctuary for creativity, and most importantly, for thought itself."
