SAVI TECHNOLOGY NAMES BRUCE JACQUEMARD AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT/GENERAL MANAGER, GLOBAL FIELD OPERATIONS
Former i2 Executive In New Position Reflects Rising Global Demand for
Savis Real-Time Supply Chain Asset Management Offerings
SINGAPORE -- 29 January, 2002 - Savi Technology, Inc., the provider of unique real-time solutions for supply chain asset management, security and collaboration, today announced Bruce Jacquemard appointment to the newly created position of Executive Vice President/General Manager of Global Field Operations, reflecting the companys expanding scope of commercial opportunities worldwide. Jacquemard, with 21 years of global experience leading major enterprise software and logistics businesses, was formerly the Senior Vice President of i2 Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ITWO), responsible for the High Tech and Telecommunications business units, which together accounted for the majority of the $1-billion companys revenues.
At Savi, Jacquemard will be responsible for growing worldwide sales and profits in the commercial sector, where Savi has expanded its customer base through accelerated sales efforts the past two years.
Jacquemard also was a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CADIS, Inc., which was acquired by Aspect Development in 1997. In 2000, i2 acquired Aspect for $9.3 billion, then the largest-ever merger of software suppliers.
