What a way to find a date!
Educated programmer searching for love on internet personals site decides he could do it himself better, and does.
A single programmer decided to give the on-line dating services a chance after the ending of a long relationship. After checking many of the existing sites out, he realized how dissatisfied he was with the limitations they had, so he sat down at his PC, and began to program his own site. The process took three months, and after enlisting the aid of his sister, Michelle, to create the graphics and assist with some of the details, Meet-net was born.
Duane Hitz, founder of meet-net and it's parent company, Quintessence Software, brought his website on-line one year ago and has already topped 50,000 members. The site is rapidly taking hold and growing fast by using personal invitations and word of mouth advertising. As for Duane's personal life, has he found that date yet?
"Actually, yes" he says. "As a matter of fact, I met her just three days before the site went on-line."
