Among many other geographic information systems (PRWEB) February 2, 2002 -out interface, optimized function set, convenient and intelligible conception of work with the cartographic data as well as with the semantic data.
However, when the matter concerns the end user software development for a certain technology on the basis of MapInfo, as a rule you have to use the MapBasic application development environment. The language MapBasic allows every user to build his own applied problems oriented GIS. E.g., data input demanding large amount of dialog boxes or optimization of a command set execution, integrated to special toolbars.
Application development environment MapBasic contains text editor, compiler and linker. Creating dialogs, menus, toolbars requires unfortunately much time and routine work when describing them in specific MapBasic commands. Even greater efforts demand changing, adding and removing individual components of the interface under development.
The Windows oriented development support systems (Borland Delphi, Microsoft Visual Basic and other Rapid Application Development Tools) have already been using visual methods of creating program interface with automatically generated program code for a long time. Using of RAD Tools in development process radically simplifies the development, deployment and management of applications.
microOLAP MBBuilder 1.5 is the first Rapid Application Development environment for MapBasic that fully supports all MapBasic features. With MBBuilder 1.5, corporate or individual developers can create MapInfo MapBasic applications quickly and easily.
