Sanbolic Announces Director of Regional Sales

New Director of Sales to Expand Sales Territory to Western US and Asia Pacific

Watertown, MA, February 1, 2002 - Sanbolic, Inc. today announced the appointment of a new executive and opening of a satellite office on the West Coast, as part of expanding the company's growth and focusing on sales. Subbu Krishnamurthy will serve as the company's Director of Regional Sales for Western US and Asia Pacific.

Mr. Krishnamurthy comes to Sanbolic with more than 10 years of global sales and marketing experience in storage and the media marketplace. Most recently, he served as the Sr. Strategic Alliance Manager at Nishan Systems. At Nishan, Mr. Krishnamurthy was responsible for the execution of the key strategic reselling agreements with large OEM storage/services divisions from initiation to completion. Previously with EMC, Transoft and Avid Technology, Inc., where he served as Regional Consulting Manager, Director of International Sales and Regional Manager in Asia.

Mr. Krishnamurthy is responsible for developing and maintaining a sales account plan in conjunction with management goals and strategies, as well as obtaining approval and providing approval of plan, qualifying opportunities, and establishing customer commitments in Western US and Asia Pacific.
