Capture.Net begins year with a bang!
Leading ISV signs three new customers.
The staff at Capture.Net Technologies could not have asked for a happier New Year. Just one month into 2002 and
the company has already signed on three new customers. Given the fact that market conditions are not in the
best of shape (to say the least), this is quite a significant accomplishment for the company who specializes in retail and
chain management solutions for specialty and hard goods Retailers. "Our ability to help Retailers identify their
operational pains and develop a vision with capabilities they require to succeed in a fierce marketplace has
been a key factor in our recent success," says President and CEO, Roger Sholanki.
The legendary Stratford Shakespearean Festival of Canada is among those Retailers who are sold on the benefits
associated with Capture.Net's "RMS" (Retail Management System) solution. Bringing more than $169 million annually to
the regional economy, Stratford also manages retail stores within the small southwestern city of Ontario. According to
Scott Stephens, the Applications Support Coordinator for Stratford, it was the real-time inventory tracking
features and the ease of use that eventually convinced them to adopt the RMS solution, after viewing
various competing products. "The training team at Capture.Net is great. RMS is so easy to use and it's very intuitive.
I am confident that our users will be able to learn the new application in a short period of time."
Sport Nutrition Depot (SND) also recently inked a deal with Capture.Net. As a specialty Retailer of sports supplements,
SND is a growing chain known for providing the largest selection of brand name products to their niche market. SND is
positioned to dominate the Canadian marketplace with their growing network of stores and a powerful e-commerce
strategy set to launch later this year. Founder and President, Alan Ruby is convinced that Capture.Net's solution will
provide the core foundation they need to achieve this goal. "Capture.Net's strengths include their people and the
software's flexibility. Their people listened to our individual needs and truly cared about tailoring the
solution to enable us to run our business more efficiently," says Ruby.
Finally, Party Land Inc. (a Capture.Net customer since the Spring of 2001) has just added their newest franchise located
in Minnesota, to the increasing list of RMS users. Party Land Inc. is the largest international retail chain specializing in
party supplies. The company has more than two hundred stores and is ranked among the "top franchise companies" by
reputable magazines such as Success Magazine, Income Opportunities, Successful Franchising, and Entrepreneur.
