Warren, NJ -- Celiant Corporation today announced it has appointed Gregory S. Czuba as its Vice President, Product Management and Strategic Marketing. Czuba had previously been President, Remec Wireless, in San Diego, where he led 300 employees in the design, development and manufacture of wireless telecom equipment.

Warren, NJ -- Celiant Corporation today announced it has appointed Gregory S. Czuba as its Vice President, Product Management and Strategic Marketing. Czuba had previously been President, Remec Wireless, in San Diego, where he led 300 employees in the design, development and manufacture of wireless telecom equipment.
Celiant was created in June 2001 as an independent venture from a Bell Labs research and development group and Lucent Technologies' (NYSE: LU) power amplifier division. Its base station subsystems products are backed by more than 300 patents and patent applications, and it has more than 1.3 million wireless power amps and modules in service worldwide.

His wireless industry background and international experience will also help him make an immediate impact on our ability to meet and exceed our customers needs."

Before his position at Remec, Czuba was Director, Mobile Satellite Systems, at Hughes Network Systems in Germantown, Md. There he had extensive international business experience, including development contracts with Alcatel for a GSM system for China, another with Ericsson for a Middle Eastern mobile satellite communications system, and a third with a telecom start-up in India.
Before Hughes, Czuba held marketing and business development management positions at M/A-COM in Lowell, Mass. He was granted a patent in advanced satellite communication antenna technology while a design engineer at Hughes Space and Communications Group, and holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
