New Design Services Company Launched to Focus on Design Needs of Triathlon Bike Industry

Innovative Engineering Design Services Address Growing Trends

Boulder, Colorado -- Tri Design, Inc., a new contender in the Bike industry, today announces the launch of its design services company to provide design engineering services and expertise to companies in the bike industry who focus on the triathlon market.

The newly formed company will provide a variety of design-based services, from product design and development, to manufacturing drawing creation, to product conceptualization, to testing coordination and quality assurance. Tri Designs mission is to deliver innovative bike component designs on schedule with pro athlete design feedback to ensure market demand is met. This further ensures that pro athletes receive the bike components they want, while guaranteeing the bike manufacturers receive the profits they need in the marketplace.

The company was created by Todd Hoffman, a Mechanical Engineer with over eight years of experience designing in the bike industry. Prior to opening Tri Design, Todd was the head of engineering for Profile Design, a leading bicycle component manufacturer based in Long Beach, California. Here, he was behind the design of a variety of world-leading bike components, including the CarbonX Aerobar, the most widely-used aerobar by top triathletes worldwide. Many of his products are endorsed by top professional triathlon, mountain and road bike athletes, and his products have won a top three finish in each worldwide Ironman triathlon for the past three years, not to mention being used in the Olympics. Todds unique design approach and broad industry experience are theis the backbone of Tri Design, Inc. He saw the need in the maturing bike industry to provide quality, innovative design services to help manufacturers broaden their product lines, while keeping costs down.

Tri Design will also make available its team of design specialists and offer other services such as vendor sourcing, market research, and pro athlete relationships. The company also anticipates expanding beyond designing triathlete bike components to addressing the design needs of the other bike industry sectors.
