A new chapter in browser-based web site measurement: NEDSTAT PRESENTS A TOTALLY INTEGRATED WEB SITE TRACKING SOLUTION WITH THE LAUNCH OF SITESTAT 4.0
Nedstat is the first web site tracking company to offer an integrated ASP solution for website measurement. Sitestat provides information about dynamic, static, Flash and WAP sites, banners, e-mail campaigns, form data and search engine performance. The integration of this information with offline data and the 1-to-1 tracking possibilities of Sitestat offer a unique insight into visitors behaviour.
Sitestat 4.0s new measuring technique measures (locally) cached page views, which were previously undetectable. Pages requested using the 'previous (back), 'next (forward) and 'renew (refresh) buttons are now also counted and distinguished from those pages viewed for the first time. This results in a more accurate picture of the number of pages visited and how visitors really navigate a website.
Sitestat 4.0 has 80+ features and now offers online custom-made reports. New features include page-loading time, repeat visits and the option of viewing any report live. It is now possible to look at sales conversion from marketing campaigns (real-time).
The management of this information is easy with the Sitestat interface and unique report builder. Users create their own reports online, selecting the items, date range and data format of their choice. If required, reports can be sent automatically every day, week or month. Alternatively, they can be exported into Excel with the option of refreshing the data directly from Excel later.

As a browser-based solution, Sitestat 4.0 captures data using different techniques. When a page is viewed, a script is activated and one invisible pixel is retrieved from the Nedstat server and a cookie is placed in the browser of the visitor (optional). Each page has a unique name (Sitestat does not use the URL) so every page is measured individually in an organised manner.
It is also possible to give a page extra characteristics (with the new Labels module) enabling pages to be grouped together and compared in a variety of ways. The ability to capture data submitted by visitors in forms such as e-mail address or gender makes it possible to personalise your visitors behaviour. With the Data Look-Up module, which combines Sitestats data with information from external databases, a complete profile of your visitors can be developed.
