Leviton introduces new QuickPort Simplex SC adapter

Leviton Voice & Data Division has introduced a new, easy-to-use, snap-in Simplex SC QuickPort adapter. It accommodates SC fiber optic connectors and workstation patch cords in any Leviton QuickPort housing. It features a shutter on the front, a dust cap on the rear, phosphor-bronze or zirconia-ceramic sleeves, is available in both multimode and singlemode, and comes in five colors.

Leviton Voice & Data Division has introduced a new QuickPort adapter. Part of Leviton's Opt-X Fiber Optic System, the easy-to-use, snap-in Simplex SC QuickPort adapter accommodates SC fiber optic connectors and workstation patch cords in any Leviton QuickPort housing. The adapter features a unique and innovative shutter on the front that protects against dust and contamination when the SC port is not in use, ensuring a quality performance once connectorized. A dust cap is provided on the rear of the adapter. Available in both multimode and singlemode, the adapter features phosphor-bronze or zirconia-ceramic sleeves, and comes in five colors for easy port identification. Offering complete flexibility to customize any installation, the adapter provides frame and workstation capabilities with any QuickPort housing, including wallplates, surface mount housings, patch panels, patch blocks, modular furniture faceplates, and the Multimedia Outlet System (MOS) line. The new QuickPort SC adapter supports all commercial and residential applications.
