Gifted Girls(R)Book Series Author/Creator Victoria London to Tour Schools in U.S. to promote Reading and Self-Esteem to Kids and Parents

As a response to a growing fan request, Victoria London, author of the Gifted Girls(R) series of books, will tour elementary schools across the U.S. in order to promote reading and self-esteem-building for kids.

Gifted Girls® Series of Books to Hit Schools Across the United States

February, 2002, Dallas, TX- After the recent release of the first book, Lucy and The Liberty Quilt: Book 1 in November 2001, fans for the Gifted Girls® Series of Books have been growing.

Not surprisingly, the group with the largest fan following for this new fictional series is made up of parents and teachers. This series has so many good qualities," stated one parent, who is organizing to help bring Gifted Girls® to the attention of schools, parents, and teachers.

In response to this fan following, the creator and writer of the Gifted Girls® Books will be reading and signing her books, Lucy and The Liberty Quilt: Book 1, the newly-released second book, Lucy and The Beauty Queen: Book 2, and other books at elementary schools across the United States this year to help promote reading and self-esteem-building to children.

What makes this series so interesting? Kailin Gow, president of Dallas-based Sparklesoup Studios and publisher of the books, believe it is the inspiring and educational message behind the series. With each Gifted Girls® book, the reader learns about certain character-building traits, important figures and role models in history, and the value of friendship and faith. These are qualities that transcend age, time, and gender. No wonder why these books are becoming popular with adults, as well as children," said Gow.

Gifted Girls® is designed to help girls see that everyone has unique talents and gifts that they can bring to the world. Through courage, faith, and adventures of the Gifted Girls®, girls from around the world can see that girls, like themselves, can make a difference in bettering the world with some help from God.

The Gifted Girls® books and products are currently available on Amazon.com and Sparklesoup.com. The publishers of Lucy and The Liberty Quilt will be donating a portion of the net proceeds from the first edition to the American Red Cross. A former English-As-A-Second Language Teacher, Victoria London encourages reading for children and adults at all levels, and would welcome inquiries for speaking and reading opportunities from schools and churches at: sparklesoup@msn.com.
