Tempe, AZ ¯ February 6, 2002
Ensynch, Inc., a Tempe, Arizona-based Managed Service Provider, announced today that it will provide turnkey IT services for International FiberCom, including nationwide Network Management, Messaging Services, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Core Business Application and Database hosting, as well as 24x7 end-user Help Desk and Support. Phase 2 of the Enterprise IT Plan agreement -- including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Procurement services -- will be initiated in early 3rd quarter 2002.
We are excited about our new partnership with International FiberCom and the ability of our services to lower their operating costs and allow them to focus on strategic business functions," said Ensynch President Gene Holmquist.
According to CIO Mark Booth, International FiberCom Inc.'s (Nasdaq:IFCI) decision to partner with Ensynch was based on both financial and operational considerations. "Outsourcing our data center to Ensynch effectively addresses our goal of reducing operating costs while freeing up staff to focus on business analysis work. In fact, we feel we may exceed our initial expectations of 12% savings in the first year and up to 25% in subsequent years over what we were paying previously. And our data center now operates in a predictable, measurable environment with expertly managed processes and procedures."
"Working closely with Ensynch's experienced professional staff enabled our team to accomplish this move application-by-application over weekends with minimal downtime," Booth added. "I look forward to continuing and growing our business relationship."
Ensynch customers include companies as diverse in size and requirements as Rockford Fosgate, Arizona Department of Health Services, Intel, Cox Business Services, InfoImage, Tosco Corporation, Learning Station, Advance PCS, and International FiberCom. The company was recently awarded the Managed Hosting Contract for Education by the State of Arizona, estimated to be the largest Education ASP worldwide.
