Syndicated Dating Show Features ArtMolds in March
SUMMIT, NJ - Feb. 04, 2002 -- On March 6th, one brave woman will bare her torso on national television -- sort of.
Ed McCormick, Managing Director of ArtMolds Sculpture Studio LLC, will create a front torso life casting of a female guest on "Change of Heart," a Warner Bros. syndicated television show.
"Change of Heart" is a relationship dating show, and the segment is part of an arranged first date between participants. To be aired in early March, the segment was produced by Teresa Sorrentino of Telepictures Productions and recorded on location in the Millington, N.J., ArtMolds studio.
A noted life casting artist and author, McCormick manufactures life casting kits and materials designed to help both beginners and seasoned experts create realistic, professional life casts. He will use his Front Torso Kit, exclusive to ArtMolds, for the TV segment. Some other ArtMolds specialty kits include the Pro Hand Casting Kit, popular with beginners, for casting a parent's hand holding a child's hand or two adult hands together; the EZ Torso Belly Mask Kit, a simple method of making pregnancy castings for expectant mothers; and the Face Cast Kit. Perhaps the most unusual kit is the men's Intimate Kit, recommended by the Playboy Advisor and scheduled to be featured on the German newsmagazine show, "Extra," in a February episode comparing the effects of herbal remedies on the male libido. This segment was produced by Allison Whitlock for RTL Television.
"We are pleased to bring the ArtMolds products to television," McCormick said. "I think the audience will be surprised to see how easy we have made it to make casts of the human body."
ArtMolds Dedicated to Life Casting
McCormick continued, "Our company motto is 'Studio Quality Material For Museum Quality Results,' and we are committed to making it possible for even non-artists to create realistic, professional looking life casts. For both beginners and experienced life casting artists, we provide a forum, a place to exhibit, and high quality professional materials, kits, and information."
In addition to its life casting kits, ArtMolds developed MoldGel SloSet, which has become the industry standard for prosthetic grade alginate life casting material.
The company also holds lifecasting workshops and offers instructional books and videos.
