NEW SEMINARS SCHEDULED AT GIFT SHOW

The Orange County Gift Show is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2002 and will feature seminars led by two gift basket experts.

Anaheim, California (February 8, 2002)--Two of the countrys top gift basket experts, Shirley
Frazier and Mary Ann Jacobs, are scheduled to appear at The Orange County Gift Show to be held
on Saturday, October 12, 2002 at California State University in Fullerton.

This trade show, sponsored by the Gift Basket Professionals Network (GBPN), is open to gift retailers. It will feature 80 exhibitors selling gift and gourmet products, baskets, containers and a variety of supplies and services.

Shirley Frazier of Paterson, New Jersey and author of How to Start a Home-Based Gift Basket
Business, will address "Marketing in Your Own Backyard." Mary Ann Jacobs of Tucson, Arizona will
teach "How to Move Unmovable Inventory."

"Bringing these popular speakers to this event will boost our attendance records over last years numbers," said Flora M. Brown, show coordinator. A "make-and-take" gift basket design workshop is also planned.

All registered buyers are eligible to enter the shows Design Competition, where three entrants
will receive cash prizes for the winning gift basket designs. Buyers will also enjoy complimentary snacks during the event as well as hourly chances to win products donated by show exhibitors.

Based in Anaheim, California, the 60-member GBPN was founded in 1993 to unite gift basket industry professionals and to provide support and guidance, learn advanced design techniques, manage inventory and raise the bar in customer service standards. GBPN members meet monthly to
discuss industry issues and hear presentations by retail experts.
