A Week of New Irish Cinema in Hollywood for St. Patrick's Day!
From March 13-20, the Irish Screen, the Irish Film Board and the American Cinematheque will present a week of Irish features, short film and animation at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
The Irish Screen, in conjunction with the Irish Film Board and the American Cinematheque, will be screening a series of some of the most exciting voices from Ireland, including Sundance winner BLOODY SUNDAY by director Paul Greengrass; NORA, starring Ewan McGregor; and Kirsten Sheridan's impressive first feature, DISCO PIGS. The series also features two music documentaries on the Pogues and the Undertones as well as a special Animation and Shorts program.
The screenings will take place at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, California, home of the American Cinematheque. Expected to speak at the screenings are various directors and cast members.
