Cherries blossom again !
State Securities, Tenon Recovery and Lester Aldridge recently hosted a successful social evening at Southampton (UK) Yacht Club on behalf of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
Around 37 local accountants, solicitors, human resource professionals, lawyers and turnaround professionals were addressed by guest speaker Trevor Watkins, ex-Chairman of Bournemouth Football Club and partner at Ensor Byfield, lawyers in Southampton, who gave an enlightening and informative talk on the turnaround of the club following its receivership in 1997.
Paul Burke, Southern Region Committee Member of the TMA and Director at State Securities, said: The evening was an ideal opportunity for us to meet local like-minded businesses in the area who are keen to develop and maintain companies stability and profitability. Trevors inspirational speech demonstrated the value that turn around professionals can offer to business that may be suffering financial hardship."
The next Southern regional event is scheduled for 21st March in Bristol. For further information on this event, telephone Sarah Garrett on 01489 775600.
