A major international business-to-business publishing conference will be held in Munich, Germany, on 5 & 6 September 2002. The first event of its kind, publishers from more than 50 countries will be invited to the FIPP B2B Conference 2002, hosted by the Association for German Magazine Publishers (VDZ).
The FIPP B2B Conference 2002 will focus on common challenges and issues for b2b publishers throughout the world, including the need for integrated marketing to maintain profit levels.
With falling ad revenues still a major concern for the industry, the two day event, sponsored by FIPP in conjunction with VDZ, is a timely addition to this years calendar - providing opportunities to extend b2b titles and brands through cross-border publishing ventures.
Uwe Hoch, (Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt), Board Member of VDZ and chairman of the German b2b Magazine Association (Deutsche Fachpresse) said: We are extremely pleased to be able to host this important event for business-to-business publishers. We hope this will help form and strengthen business ties between publishers with common interests in cross-border publishing."
Donald D. Kummerfeld, president of FIPP, said: This is a unique opportunity to look at the challenges and opportunities specific to the world of business-to-business publishers. The FIPP B2B Conference will provide a forum for debate, an opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, and for networking between international peers."
