What are the 3 Styles of Relationships?
Explains Dane, "Basically, almost anyone can keep a relationship going for three years ? hence the modern phenomenon of ?serial monogamy,? where people have a series of three-year relationships. The question is: after the three-year mark, how do you keep the sex and money from fizzling out? Answer: In a Union of Souls, not only is the sex and money still happening after three years, it continues to get better.

"There are three types of romantic relationships: Less-Risks, Drama-Triangles and Union-of-Souls. The Less-Risk style of romance is a convenient relationship that offers equality. The Drama-Triangle (a term originally coined by Dr. Steven Karpman) style of romance is a codependent relationship that offers passion. The Union-of-Souls style of romance is a covenant relationship that offers romantic stability in the form of dependable sensuality and financial security. Few couples create a union-of-souls because it often requires either 1) hitting rock-bottom in romance and having an epiphany that you deserve better, even if it means changing your core beliefs; and/or 2) having faith that such a relationship is possible, since the chances are that you?ve never seen one modeled (there?s a less than 10% chance that your parents had one).

"Each of these relationships is valid. My book helps others decide which relationship is right for them. It will also gives one the tools to create that relationship," explains Dane.
