We felt there was a significant gap in the online content directed specifically to owners and executives of family businesses, and are pleased to be plugging that gap with a dynamic online resource," says Paul Karofsky, executive director of Northeastern Universitys Center for Family Business. With fambiz.com, we are providing family business owners and executives with the most resourceful articles and information available from the most respected family business centers around the world."
Fambiz.com currently offers visitors access to content covering a wide range of family business topics, including succession, financing, estate planning and tax issues. Along with providing its own content on the site, fambiz.com has formed content-sharing strategic alliances with some of the top family business centers and organizations in the world, including Baylor University, the University of Massachusetts, Duke University, the Australian Center for Family Business, DePaul University, Tulane University, and the University of Wisconsin.
The decision to provide our content to fambiz.com visitors was easy to make, considering that Northeastern is as determined as we are to offer those involved in family businesses the best resources available to help them make better decisions," says Ann Kinkade, director of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Family Business Center, a fambiz.com content provider.
Northeastern has been a reliable source for information and counsel for my family and my business, and I am pleased to have yet another resource at my disposal with fambiz.com," says Craigie Zildjian, of the Avedis Zildjian Co., the oldest business of record in the United States and a family-owned enterprise. Each day presents a new challenge, such as asset concerns, sibling relationships, and planning for the future. Fambiz.com enables me to search for and read articles written by family business experts that cover these particular topics and more."
