Author Kristie Leigh Maguire has been presented the Book Review Café Award for Outstanding Author.

Ms. Maguire is the author of Emails from the Edge (The Life of an Expatriate Wife), Desert Triangle which is scheduled for release in July 2002 by Southern Charm Press, co-author along with Mark Haeuser of No Lady and Her Tramp which is scheduled for release by SCP in Jan 2004, and contributor to Calliopes Mousepad: Women Writers Online.

Emails from the Edge was the Fiction Pick of the Month (Jan) at the Have You Heard column at MyShelf.com. Ms. Maguire has donated the e-book version of Emails from the Edge as a permanent selection to the Military Download Library (MDL). The MDL provides books for our troops free of charge.
