NOTES TO EDITORS
Corven Group
Corven originates from a simple idea that wealth usually comes not from searching for new lands but from seeing with new eyes. For Corven that means not necessarily engaging in the risky game of mergers and acquisitions but looking instead for new sources of revenue, even new businesses, from an existing asset base. This is the premise on which Corven is founded.
Corven enables other businesses to grow through looking at what they already own in new and innovative ways. Corven has built a group of companies capable of integrating the ideas, the people and the capital required to succeed -- through Corven Partners, a management consultancy that serves over ten percent of the FTSE100; Corven Ventures, a private equity firm that makes investments up to 5 million; and Corven Excelcis, a search firm that finds senior entrepreneurial managers.
The Company was recently selected as one of four finalists in the prestigious Real Business/CBI Growing Business Awards. It was short-listed for the Most Promising Young Company award for having developed a company from start-up to commercial success.
