2/4/2002 9:16:00 AM
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, Feb 04, 2002 (INTERNET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Accident Prevention Plus, Inc. (ACDT) announced today that the Board of Directors approved a 1.2 for one forward split of its outstanding shares. The split is effective February 25, 2002, and requires a mandatory exchange of stock certificates to receive the dividend shares.
Management sees this as an opportunity to increase the number of available shares in the market for future business opportunities and to reward our company shareholders with a larger number of shares. Our latest business prospects should quickly escalate the Company's growth, and that growth should, in turn, be reflected in our share value.
This forward split was approved, in part, to ensure that all currently trading ACDT shares are in fact authorized and appropriately backed by the required certificates
Certificate(s) should be forwarded to Continental Stock Transfer 17 Battery Place, New York, NY 10004, with $15 for each certificate (not each share) for each new certificate to be issued. If you request that your shares be issued to some other person or entity, please ensure that your certificate has been signed and "Medallion" guaranteed. Most brokers and commercial banks can provide this service.
