Kronofusion Technologies Inc. Expands and Moves to Technology Place at BCIT
Emerging wireless company will access research expertise and share technology resources
Vancouver, BC, February 12, 2002 - - Kronofusion Technologies Inc. (CDNX : KRO), an emerging provider of wireless and web-based remote access solutions, announced today that they will expand and move their head office to Technology Place located on the campus of British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and managed by Discovery Parks Inc. Discovery Parks promotes and supports the growth of the high technology research and development industry in B.C., particularly in association with SFU, UBC, BCIT, UVic and the Science Council of B.C.
Kronofusion will house its sales and marketing, R & D, and administrative staff as well as its management team at the new facilities. A sales office is located in Mountain View, California, and the corporate office in Vancouver.

Located on the eastern side of the BCIT campus in Burnaby, BC, Technology Place is a new 3 floor, 33,000 square foot research facility designed to house tenants from the private sector that require office and laboratory space. "We are extremely pleased that Kronofusion has decided move their operations to the BCIT campus," says Norman Streat, Dean, Applied Research and Director of BCIT Technology Centre. Technology Place at BCIT was created with the idea of promoting high-tech research and development on campus and to enable companies to access BCIT's researchers and technology resources. As BCIT's research and technology transfer office, we are committed to providing just that."
BCIT's IT research group, Group for Advanced Information Technology (GAIT), will be working closely with Kronofusion on various R&D projects. Kronofusion will benefit from access to the faculty, researchers and technology experts on the campus. In addition, they will contribute to BCITs educational mandate to provide real-world experience to students by outsourcing projects to the Computer Systems Technology Diploma and BTech students, to complete quality assurance testing for the companys AccessPointTM software, which enables users to access their desktop computers from any web-enabled device.
