Teseda Corporation Draws on IC Test Experts
To Fill CTO and Technical Marketing Positions
Teseda Corporation announced the appointment of test industry notable, Ken Posse, as chief technical officer (CTO) and design-for-test (DFT) expert, Geir Eide, as technical marketing engineer.
Portland, Ore. - Feb. 11, 2002 - Teseda Corporation today announced the appointment of test industry notable, Ken Posse, as chief technical officer (CTO) and design-for-test (DFT) expert, Geir Eide, as technical marketing engineer. Teseda is a venture-funded start-up that is employing patent-pending technology to develop test products. These products will be architected to maximize the benefits of a test strategy that is DFT-focused to dramatically reduce the cost of testing systems-on-chip (SoCs) and shorten time-to-volume.
Teseda is bringing products to market that incorporate new technology to help semiconductor companies address both production-floor and engineering-test requirements for SoCs utilizing DFT methodologies," said Steve Morris, president and CEO of Teseda. Kens expertise in test and, more specifically, DFT test is an essential ingredient as we ready our new products for market. Geirs knowledge of DFT techniques and how customers use them significantly bolsters our sales and marketing capabilities. Both Ken and Geir have the understanding and experience to help us design, implement, and support our innovative DFT-focused products."
Posse joins Teseda from Agilent Technologies, where he was the system architect in the Intelligent Test Solutions Division. Before that, Posse spent 26 years with Hewlett-Packard in a variety of technical and business management positions. He has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from National Technological University. A frequently published author, he contributed to several IEEE standards and holds twelve patents.
Eide comes to Teseda after four years at Mentor Graphics Corporation, where he most recently held the position of technical marketing manager for the DFT Advanced Products Group. Eide has an M.S. and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and earned his engineering degree at the Kongsberg College of Engineering in Norway. He is a published author and was selected to lead full-day tutorials on DFT for system-on-chip designs at the recent Design Automation Conference and the International Test Conference.
